The Mistra restaurant in Venice is known for being casual and friendly. It often draws in a large crowd at lunchtime, when workers from he nearby area come in for something to eat and a couple of drinks. But despite being a casual place to eat, the food is restaurant quality. Head on over and you can grab yourself a light lunch of spaghetti and squid ink, fry ups, sea food and much more.
The kitchen is open for everyone to see, and you can always chat to the hosts if you require something specific.
During the evening, the atmosphere changes – becoming more moody and romantic. You can get some great food here of the evening as you can in the day, and the outdoor courtyard is a great place to eat on warm evenings and sunny afternoons.
Light lunches cost up to around 25 Euros, and for a full meal you’ll probably pay about 35 Euros.
